| Jazz saxman/producer Gainen has traveled the world (figuratively) to play with indigenous musicians by sending song files and having their performances returned via the internet. The result of his journey is this multi-dimensional album. The tune “Aboriginal Dreamscape” allows Gainen’s spritely sax to float above a field of digeridoo drones. “Help Me Sing This Song Of Joy” is an original pop/gospel number voiced by The Hues Corporation. “Just Do Something” is an inspiring “global jam remix” that suggests that Gainen would be a great choice to compose and produce music for a major spectacle event a la the Olympics. |
