| Both a multi-instrumentalist and producer/engineer, Gainen has an impressive project with some seasoned genre players, featuring "feel good" originals that meld nicely with cover tunes. Based on the instrumentals we heard, the album is a veritable trip around the world, smooth jazz style, never bogging down in one groove. (The album also features some guest vocalists.) Anyone looking for soothing, evocative underscore cannot lose with Gainen. |
